Approximately ten miles from the ranch is one of the trail heads into the Marble Mountain Wilderness. With over 240,000 acres, 89 lakes and two major Wild and Scenic river systems-Wooley Creek and the North Fork Salmon River, as well as 32 miles (51 km) of the Pacific Crest Trail, there are many recreation opportunities.

Ten miles north of the ranch is the Klamath River, famous for its salmon and steelhead fishing and recreational river rafting.
